I love making music and writing new songs. Working on music is rewarding, relaxing, and entertaining. Unfortunately, there is currently very little free time in my life for music. Like most people below retirement age, the day job and family life consume most of my time, leaving little free time. Moreover, my last album went nowhere fast.
Help! I've Been Turned into a Puppet.

It's been well-over a year since I released Push Me Away, so you may think I have begun working on my next album. Unfortunately, I have not. I have been turned into a puppet by the music industry and have not been able to do anything. They are in complete control. I just stand around not doing anything all day while they pull the strings of the other more well known players in the industry and make money.

I just uploaded a new lyric video for my song titled Push Me Away. This video is a bit more interesting than the first video for this song. You can check it out on my YouTube channel. By the way, my YouTube channel is now an official artist channel. The channel now contains videos for each song on the Push Me Away album so you can listen to my music this way if you prefer.

Earlier this week, Push Me Away made it's debut onto the music scene. Thanks to everyone that reached out to congratulate me and shared a favorite song. I greatly appreciate all the kind words. I realize my music isn't for everyone, so receiving so much positive feedback really means a lot. So what's next?

To support the release of Push Me Away I put together a lyric video. Yes, I said lyric video. Lame? Not very cool? If you said yes, to a large extent, I agree. However, for me free-time is in short supply.
Album Release Date Set

After much work, an album release date for my debut album - Push Me Away has been set. beginning May 17th, 2021 the album will be available on most music streaming services.
It was difficult for me to decide when to release the album. Even after I finally stopped fine tuning the music and album art I still needed to wait for the inspection results from my chosen music distributor. Questions like - what if they reject a song or two and I need to make adjustments? - loomed in my head.
Frank On BandCamp

Recently, I started working on my Bandcamp page. Later this Spring I will publish my Bandcamp page and release my first digital album. When I do, I will share the news and a web link. So far, the hardest part of putting my bandcamp page together was deciding on an album cover image. The image I finally settled on is a silhouette of me that I captured a couple years ago when I first decided I wanted to put together an album.
